NURSERY: The Colour Monster

In Nursery we have enjoyed reading 'The Colour Monster'. We have been exploring the primary colours and talked about how the different colours show The Colour Monster's different emotions. The children have used a range of materials to apply paint to the paper and cardboard.

Yellow = Happy

Driving cars through the paint.

Using hands to spread the paint!

Using sponges and rollers.

Blue = Sad

Spreading paint with hands.

Using wooden blocks and paint brushes.

Red = Angry

Using dinosaurs to stomp through the red paint and onto the cardboard.

YEAR 5: Decorating Sketchbooks

 Year 5 have chosen different types of paints, pens and collage materials to decorate their sketchbooks. They have used a variety of painting techniques to create such expressive designs, they look terrific!

 Year 4 have used a range of paints and collage to decorate their sketchbooks. They have created such a variety of exciting sketchbook covers. Well done!
