William Morris
Our theme for Art Club during Spring term 1 was exploring and responding to the work of William Morris.
We explored a range of William Morris wallpaper designs and discussed what we noticed about his designs. We explored the shapes and patterns of plants and animals in his designs by using watercolour paints.
We then started looking at creating our own designs that included plants and animals.
After exploring a range of ideas, we created our own printing plate with our design on it. Then we did several prints and made a collaborative piece of printed wallpaper.
